EZ-900/1200 No-Solder Connectors

Features

General

In order to make installation on the cable easier, instead of the self-tapping center conductor used on the current TC series connectors, the EZ series connectors use a plated, spring-finger push-in pin. All parts in the RF path are silver plated and all mechanical parts, such as the coupling nuts and clamp rings are nickel plated. The insulators are captivated on the center pins, so there are no small parts to lose.

Attachment Instructions

Cable Trimming: Slide backnut and gasket onto cable. Trim and remove 13/32" of the cable jacket. Slide the gland washer over the cable braids. Deburr inner conductor of the cable.

Connector Assembly: Open the braid and slide the collar over the foil. Slide connector inner conductor into cable inner conductor. Push connector head carefully onto cable and screw it rigidly to backnut.

LMR Cables

The LMR cables are low loss, polyethylene foam dielectric cables ideal for interconnections in cellular, mobile radio, paging, satellite terminal and other RF-Microwave systems. They have copper center conductors and tape/braid outer conductors. Their attenuation, power handling, flexibility and phase stability compare favorably to corrugated copper cables at substantially lower costs.
